Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has given me peace of mind and made dealing with healthcare issues for my cats less stressful. I have 3 cats under this insurance. The website is user-friendly for submitting claims and backup documentation. My experience with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is that they process claims and make payments very quickly. They also send a followup email to find out how my pet is doing after a medical procedure.

Our policy covered 90%, $250 deductible. Our family was so thankful for this insurance when our dog became extremely sick twice and covered nearly $40,000 in hospital fees, surgery, and specialty clinic visits. I always had my reimbursement within 10 days and never had a dispute with them. If they needed more information once my claim was submitted, they contacted the hospital for it. They even emailed me to check on my pet after her hospital stays. It meant the world to us that we were able to do everything in our power to save her life, without the worry of being in debt after. DON’T LET YOUR PETS DRINK STANDING WATER OUTSIDE!!!!!!!! I would DEFINITELY go with Healthy Paws again.

Healthy Paws has been a great insurance company to work with for the needs of my beloved dog. She has had to have a few procedures done and Healthy Paws not only covered the expenses but reimbursed us promptly. Their customer service is also top notch. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking for pet insurance for their pets.

My pup got injured by the neighbor’s dog jumping on him. I never expected to use his insurance, especially at such a young age. But. I’m so thankful for it! As stressful as the last 15 months have been with my buddy trying to recover, Healthy Paws has been fabulous and helped me not have to worry about doing what needed to be done to help my boy. I’d highly recommend them and do to everyone I can. Never once have I had an issue getting payment and they’ve always been caring and responsive.

Healthy Paws is only a good option for coverage if you NEVER move locations. I have had Healthy Paws coverage since 2017. I’m active duty military and I would never have guessed my monthly premium for coverage would jump from $103 monthly to $478 monthly. I don’t choose where I live and I found this to be the greatest disappointment. The worst place you can find yourself is receiving a new cancer diagnosis after moving and then having to choose your pet or financial hardship. Now this is a known condition and I have no options to change insurers. Beware of unsustainable monthly premiums if you ever move with this company.
