the company canceled my policy without…

the company canceled my policy without getting a confirmation from me and did not reinste my policy as it used to stand. probably because my pet is now older . I HAVE PAID PREIUMS TO THIS COMPANY FOR OVER A DECADE AND PAID INTO THE POLICY MANY YEARS. their costumer care and the way they do business does has no regard for the costumers rights or well being

Good Insurance

I have had nothing but good experiences with Healthy Paws. When my dog needed oral surgery they were very easy to work with. The claims process was simple and when they required additional information they were very clear what they needed. They paid my claim in less than a week and checked back in with me to see how my dog was doing after his surgery. I would recommend them to family and friend.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
