Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

If you have different options better get other insurance company. This company increase the cost more than 15% each year and that is absurd. It is probably you never used on your pets life but they dont care at all. Once you are there they know you can not change of company because all your pet have will be considered preexistence illness in any other company

We've had Healthy Paws coverage since we got our dog as a puppy, and have been very grateful for it. Claims are processed quickly and customer service is friendly and helpful. It's been well worth it—our dog had two unexpected health issues last month with bills that totaled more than $15K, and Healthy Paws reimbursed us at 80% making it a much less stressful situation.

Our 8 1/2 year old Labrador Retriever, Jeff Pizzo, has Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. I just want to share our wonderful experience with our first claim with them during one of Jeff’s most challenging health events he has ever had to go through. He had a GI bleed of undetermined etiology on March 15th, 2023 and spent 6 days at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Southfield, Michigan and was in critical care for the first four nights, unable to eat or drink anything on his own. He completely relied on the hospital staff for his care and ultimate survival. He has since recovered 100% and we couldn't be happier. Our boy is family and we love him very much. He has had continued to follow-up with a recent ultrasound in August of 2024 and is doing well. Healthy Paws paid 80% of every bill we submitted. You can imagine how much his care and medication costs were for those 6 days and subsequent follow-up care. We are thankful for them being there for us during this difficult time and would highly recommend them! Not only were they there for us financially, but they continue to show their love and support by checking in our boy periodically! Healthy Paws IS family and we love them!

I purchased pet insurance when my dog was about 6 months old. He is now 5 years old! I purchase pet insurance for peace of mind with illness or injury. I wanted to be able to provide the best care for my dog when injury or illness has occurred without having to worry about how being able to financially afford. I pay my vet with my credit card, submit my claim and when I am reimbursed I use that money to make a payment on my credit card . So far I have had the peace of mind I was looking for. It is easy to upload invoices through their app. I have even gotten a reimbursement the same day as submitting the claim!

They continuously increase your premium. They do not work to communicate with your vet for any claim. I’m convinced they troll all of the review sites and get their bad reviews taken down. Look at Reddit if you want honest opinions from previous customers.
