Great Experience

Our 4.5 year old lab had a surgical operation for a torn ACL. We submitted a claim with Healthy Paws same evening. In the morning we got a response that the claim was approved and 80% (per our coverage) reimbursement check is on the way. Can’t ask for a better service when you go through a difficult time. Best experience ever!

Best Pet Insurance There Is!

We recently had a very stressful experience where our dog had to be rushed to surgery for internal bleeding from a cancerous tumor. Without our Helathy Paws insurance, we would not have been able to afford this surgery to help remove this tumor and prolong our dogs life. Healthy Paws reviewed our case and issued 80% of our fees within 10 business days of our submitting the invoice. They also sent follow-up emails to see how our dog was doing. They truly are the best insurance out there!

Healthy Paws is Awesome!

I have had golden retrievers since 1985. I never pursued getting insurance because in general they were usually pretty healthy until their later years. But for my latest goldens I decided to try it out while my they were still young and I went with Healthy Paws. One of my girls has had multiple flareups of pancreatitis and having this insurance to help out with that has been great! The claim procedures at Healthy Paws really couldn’t be easier; just scan a copy of your vet invoice and medical records and click submit. And, one last thing: it means a lot to me when they send me a personal email asking how my dog is doing!

Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver

Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver. We recused our 6 year old dog at 10 weeks old. He was a strong healthy pup. Unfortunately, over the last few years he has experienced some medical problems that have been costly to treat. Having pet insurance, it was never a worry for us and our pocket book. The app is easy to use, and I’ve always been reimbursed in a timely manner. .

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
