This is a wonderful pet insurance company! I have been with them since I got two happy, loving puppy pug brothers in 2012. Shockingly, I lost one last year, and they were extremely kind and compassionate in acknowleding and sympathizing my loss. Have accumulated significant vet bills over the years and especially recently because my dogs mean everything to me. Healthy Paws has a very slick, easy online claim submission process and communicates back very quickly via email. Claims have been adjudicated and direct deposit made to my bank account astonishingly fast! A couple of days! I finish by saying I wholeheartedly recommend pet owners go with this company for peace of mind that you can get and afford the best possible care for your beloved pets!"

We have had Healthy Paws Insurance for both of our dogs for a while. Heartbreaking, but we lost one of our dogs to cancer recently. We were devastated, but after gathering up all the bills for his treatment and hospitalization, it was totaling over $7,000. We had to pay our vet up front, but because we had Healthy Paws, they took care of all but $250 (which is our deductible), and we got reimbursement within 5 days of filing a claim. If you can afford the insurance (about $110/month for our two dogs, now about $50 for one), do it. It's a monthly expense yes, but if something bad happens, it's great to know you can get things paid for. And it's a huge relief that doesn't make your grief worse.
