Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We welcomed Samson into our family as a 10 wk old kitten. We decided to purchase Pet Insurance to cover any unforeseen medical needs, and we are SO happy we chose Healthy Paws Insurance! Healthy Paws could not have been more prompt in processing our claims, and offered extremely professional, courteous, personal service! They even checked in to see how Samson was doing a week later! Samson is back to his happy, kittenish, mischievous self! We are so very happy we were able to get him the help he needed, thanks to Healthy Paws! Having insurance with Healthy Paws has given me the ability to give my pets the care they need without wondering if it will break the bank. I'm able to follow the vets instructions and do the necessary testing, surgery, therapy, etc. that is required for an illness or injury without the stress of possibly not being able to pay for it. I'm glad I don't have to worry about making a choice between my savings account and my dogs' health anymore. My claims have been handled quickly, and the staff is helpful when I have questions. I have been grateful that my puppy's allergy desensitization therapy is covered after her life-threatening bee sting reaction. Hopefully she will be acclimated to bee stings through the process and avoid future incidents (and prevent me from being paranoid that bees are going to sting her everywhere we go!)

My Great Dane mix had a cruciate ligament tear of her knee. She needed an extensive and expensive operation to repair. This was my first pet to have insurance and my first claim with Healthy Paws. I was reimbursed exactly according to my policy within 2 weeks and any questions or concerns I had were answered almost immediately. I am very pleased with the coverage and customer service and would highly recommend this company for pet insurance.

This is the first time i have insurance for my pets. Healthy Paws has been great. Our dog had an unexpected abdominal infection and had to have surgery. Recently he has had a few growths removed. Thank goodness it wasn't cancerous! Healthy Paws has kept us informedon the pending claims and has reimbursed us quickly without any problems.

My dog Godzilla recently got his nail caught in a door jam and it was nearly completely ripped out. After a short time it began to bother him and became infected after a first trip to the vet. He ended up needing part of his toe amputated and the cost of everything once it was said and done was nearly $1500... Thankfully I had recently gotten pet insurance and healthy paws made this a much smaller problem. Their responses and claim procedures were prompt and straight forward and they mailed me a check very quickly. I will always have them as a security blanket for my best friend!
