Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My one year old lab mix had to have surgery for a luxated patella, which cost a couple thousand dollars. Healthy Paws processed my claim in an afternoon and I received the reimbursement check a few days later! When my vet initially treated her for it he said surgery would be the best option but he cautioned me about the cost. I was totally confident that Healthy Paws would cover it because thaey had been so good with all my other much smaller claims. It alleviated the stress for me when I knew I could do what was best for my dog because I had Healthy Paws insurance. They even followed up with an email to see how she is recovering. I am really impressed with this company. Much better than human insurance!

We've had several claims in the short 2 years we've had our dog. Healthy Paws is very efficient. Most recently all I had to do was take a picture of the vet receipt in their app and they processed it the same day. We received our reimbursement a 7 days later.

I have had Healthy Paws since 2013 and this is the first time I had to make a claim through them. My dog blew out her ACL and we decided with the vet to have surgery. There were three invoices, one for pre-op, one for the surgery, and one for a night of observation. Since I had never supplied medical records before I thought it might take a month or two before the invoices were covered. But I was wrong. They were paid within two weeks. I even receive a personal email asking how my dog was feeling. That's not just good customer service, it's a real human touch.

My husband and I want to thank you the Healthy Paws team for the hard work and professionalism. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our claim was processed and how easy it was to submit through the app. It was also so nice to receive the emails updates about our claim to make sure we stayed informed. We are so glad we chose Healthy Paws... It's wonderful to not have one more thing to worry about when dealing with a sick puppy. I would recommend to anyone. A sense of relief knowing we don't have worry about high vet bills. Our dog is very sick cost is $3800 because healthy pause be paying 90%. I would recommend to all my friends and everybody else. You get your check fast. No hassle.
