chose Healthy Paws for my two dogs, a French Bulldog and a Pug, because of their high ratings. When I first chose to have them insured, I did not know much about health insurance. I wan't entirely certain that my dogs would require insurance, however when my baby, the Frenchie began having symptoms of losing weight, regurgitating, and vomiting, I did not second guess whether or not I could afford it. She required a lot of diagnostic testing and medication for her condition and I was able to afford to see a specialist. In the coming weeks, she also began to present symptoms of IVDD. I was devastated however I was able to afford an MRI which ranges in cost from $2,000 - $2,900 and once again, the decision to push forward with further testing with a neurologist was without question. I chose the plan that covered 90 % reimbursement, which was the best choice for me. She is only a 1 and a 1/2 and although she has had a few hiccups in her health I can't even begin to thank Healthy Paws to able to afford the specialists and medications required for her condition. Our 1 year old American Bulldog underwent surgery a month ago and since we have never used pet insurance we had to call the customer service to understand the process.
