Great customer service.

Great customer service. We asked our new puppy's vet for a pet insurance recommendation after reviewing a few and being totally confused with the insurance jargon coverage language. The Figo Pet Insurance information was gladly forwarded to us. The website dashboard is easy to navigate, however we had a few questions prior to finalizing. After speaking with Jennifer in customer service, who was very informative and helpful with all our inquiries, we were pleased to move forward with securing pet insurance through Figo. Only reason not given 5 stars is because we haven't had a need to process a claim, however the hope is that it will not be required.

Figo, Knowledge, expertise, Love of the job, thats Brittany F.

I spoke with Brittany F. who was able to answer all my questions, and is just as much an animal lover, just like myself. Dogs are our language and she took an immediate interest in my resent rescue story, as well as talking about the recent loss of my 13 year old golden. Brittany knows her job well and better than that she LOVES working for Figo. I had an instant connection with her, and I enjoyed speaking with her and how she explained how the pet insurance works with Figo. Dont let her go. Its a plus when you call in and speak to someone that can answer all your questions.

Just signed up! Brand new customer.

I spent quite a bit of time reviewing different Pet Insurance Companies. Figo easily impressed me the most. I felt more comfortable signing up on the 800 number so I could speak with an actual person rather than filling out the form online. Judy was the young lady who answered my call and she was very patient and took the necessary time to answer all of my many questions. I was very impressed with her strong knowledge about the different policies offered by Figo. Judy was very positive and professional, and she made my decision to purchase coverage protection for my dog through Figo a lot easier. I believe I made a great decision today! :)

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
