My pitmix had a torn acl and needed…

My pitmix had a torn acl and needed knee surgery. A had fetch insurance but never had to use it. I spoke to customer service and they were very helpful. Explained how to submit my medical bills through the app. I had a $500 deductible and 80% coverage. I submitted my bills and within a week I was reimbursed. Thank you

Because I have two dogs the process is a little convoluted....

Because I have two dogs who I needed to put in claims for I did not realize that I would have to put in separate claims so it was a little confusing as to how that should be handled. However the customer service reps were great with answering that question once they were back in the office.

Easy process

Easy / straightforward process, good coverage. The only thing I struggled with is, I couldn’t find any contact info to ask questions. For example, I get a prescription through a pharmacy, and there isn’t a place to submit that, since it would be associated with SOAP noted I’ve already submitted. It’s not a huge expense, but it would be nice to be able to submit it, since I can submit the scripts I get at the vet visit.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
