Our family suffered the loss of our beloved 14 year old Ridgeback in May of 2023. Our solace came from our neighbors Akita who lovingly always greeted us kindly and looked for her friend our beloved Oli nearly every day. My youngest son - who had been particularly close to our dog - wanted a dog for graduation, although we were still feeling our loss his dad and I agreed. Enter a 10-month old Akita who we renamed Kofe. From the moment my son met him in the shelter, they had a strong bond. Everything was going beautifully, we took Kofe everywhere our family went - until August 2023 when the dog became violently ill. We rushed him to our family vet several times and as he continued to decline, we ended up taking him to the Vet Urgent Care who immediately referred us to The Ohio State University Vet Hospital. Waiting Period
Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.
