They claim to genuinely care about…
They claim to genuinely care about their customers, saying, “While we do our best to explain coverage based on the terms of the policy…”, in reality, you log into your account only to see claim denied, claim denied, claim denied… with nothing but a vague reference to the terms and conditions. They don’t even bother to provide an explanation or point to a specific section of the policy.
If they truly cared about their customers, the most important parts of the terms and conditions—especially regarding pre-existing conditions and the few conditions that are never covered—would be clearly displayed on the first page of their website, not buried in microscopic lettering deep within their terms and conditions. They don’t do this because they know people would be aware of these limitations and most likely wouldn’t sign up for their insurance.
Caring means being transparent so pet owners can make informed decisions upfront, not blindsiding them during some of the most difficult and heartbreaking moments of their lives.
