Fetch Pet Insurance denied my cat's…
Fetch Pet Insurance denied my cat's emergency claim by calling it “pre-existing” — even though WA law (RCW 48.205) says pre-existing conditions must exist before coverage starts.
They buried a “pre-policy exam” rule deep in 36 pages and used it to deny coverage when Jelly Bean needed it most.
I’ve escalated this to the WA Insurance Commissioner. Pet parents deserve transparency and fairness.

Update: After posting this review, Fetch asked me to call them. For accountability, I prefer to keep all communications in writing. I have already appealed this denial and escalated the matter to the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner, as the basis for denial raises compliance concerns under RCW 48.205. I welcome a written response from Fetch’s compliance team.
