Fraud insurance
I'm sure my review will get "lost" due to it being a negative review since all I'm seeing are positive reviews and I have nothing positive to say about this experience. It was mandatory for us to have fetch insurance when we adopted our kitten from the SPCA, at which time he was only a few weeks old and had a comprehensive exam prior to the adoption as well as a follow-up exam a few weeks after the adoption. We had been paying into the policy for over a year now when our 1-year-old cat had to go to the emergency hospital and receive treatment and remain inpatient for a few days. We called to confirm the policy would cover a certain percentage of the bill since it was extremely high and something that was not in the budget at the moment as well as the procedures/care was also within the scope, to which the agent confirmed and we proceeded with getting our cat the care he needed. We submitted all of the paperwork from the veterinary Hospital as required but keep getting the runaround and getting asked for ridiculous pieces of documentation that we can't produce from before we even adopted him. This is all a tactic to surpass the allowable time frame so we don't get any of our money back that we paid up front to the vet hospital. We were definitely taken advantage of, if we would have known we wouldn't get reimbursed even after jumping thru hoops we would have just applied for the care credit thru the vet hospital instead of losing all the money we paid upfront.
