Find someone else, they are the WORST.
Fetch doesn’t care about you or your animal. I’m sure all insurance companies aren’t great but we’ve had this one since the day we adopted Loki. He was a 7 month old rescue and they have said literally everything is a pre- -existing condition and even though we pay every month they pay for nothing and it's been 2 years now.
Our most recent claim was denied. It was for 2k and they said it was due to him having lupus - he had lumps all over his under belly and so the vet wanted to do a biopsy - it turned out it was a bunch of ingrown hairs due to him going into remission and all his hair growing back (really something to celebrate).
They also found out that the problem plaguing him wasn't lupus (though that's what he has) but it was an infection that had caused the lesions we'd been fighting to begin with. But none of that mattered because their only goal is to take your money and not pay anything out ever.
They aren’t humane. They don’t call you back. They don’t work with you. It’s just a money grubbing company and the worst part is on the other end of all this is a poor, helpless dog who just needed some love and attention. If you’re going to be an insurance company for animals have a freaking heart
We'd go somewhere else but as he has a pre-existing condition (for real now, not when we was fine at 7 months old when we adopted him and go the insurance the same minute) and so it will be just as bad if not more expensive. We are however looking into options.
Fetch responded to this but they only responded here. They never contacted me personally. They haven't said what I could do to help besides "have our vet send more paperwork" - not WHAT paperwork. And all his vets have sent a ton of paper. When we adopted Loki he just had a cyst on his toe and hair missing from his tail which we were told was due to stress / his previous life. This response below is just aligned with all the previous BS they have spouted.
