Love the quarterly payment option…
I really like the flexible payment options. But their app is a bit glitchy and I'm not a fan of being told that I NEED to take my pet to the vet. Also you have to go above and beyond to get every document from your vet as Fetch seems to not believe you...in my experience it takes awhile. And it takes even longer for your claim to be approved.
One of the things I've noticed (after starting up a new policy) is that they've added a "wellness add on". I'm VERY disappointed (and a bit angry to be honest) that the prices have gone up (just a bit) and that we're actually getting less for our money now. So annual checkups and exams don't count unless I pay you more? Not sure how long I'm going to stick with this company. I used them for years (when they were known as Petplan and a bit after the brand change) and then cancelled my last policy. (Long story).
Honestly pet insurance is one of those things that's good to have but it's like car insurance: you're most likely not going to need it for yearssss. In the meantime you'll be parting with an arm and a leg. Better safe than sorry but I'd advice you to look. Also remember that you're being reimbursed: which means you have to come up with whatever money you need first and then try and get some back through your insurance.(I was with Trupanion as well and they're excellent. The only reason I came back to Fetch is due to my history with this company and flexible quarterly payments).
So yeah. My experience with this company is a bit of a mixed bag. It is a bit of weight off my shoulders to know that my dog is covered though
