I had the absolute pleasure of talking with Amanda Mello of Fetch Pet Insurance! Being a new owner of a fur baby, getting pet insurance that provides piece of mind in the event insurance is needed, I wanted to make sure that I did my due diligence. I never realized that there are so many pet insurance companies out there and each one offers something slightly different.

I have an update to the review that I submitted a couple of weeks ago. I received a call back from a customer "care" person and we discussed my case. (It was where my claim was a couple of days late being submitted due to a personal medical emergency where I was unable to submit). He was insistent that they would not honour the claim. He then asked what I wanted them to do about it and I told him to pay the claim as I pay premiums for eligible expenses. His reply to me was "it is not for us to pay the claim, we are in the insurance business after all". Intimating that their job is to refuse as many claims as possible.
Find another insurance company that works with their clients and doesn't blatantly state their job is to refuse legitimate claims.
do yourself a favor and save the money in an account for emergencies it will stay with you and nobody will deny you your money. These guys are theives.
