Best Pet Insurance

This review is a little overdue because I have been a customer for almost a year now so there are various interactions I need to rate. I held off because I hadn’t needed to use the claim process so previous to that didn’t feel I could provide actual feedback on Embrace. However recently I had to submit a claim and I can say the process was super easy and smooth. This was my first time submitting a pet insurance claim but I found it easier than submitting an FSA claim. I was also able to get a pre certification prior to my dog’s surgery within a week of requesting which made me a feel a little more at ease. Customer service is top notch and it is obvious it must be something Embrace distills in their employees. Every individual I have interacted has been super knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I have already recommended Embrace to friends looking for pet insurance.

Best pet insurance out there!

I have had Embrace Pet insurance since my Cavalier King Charles was 6 months old. She is now 9.5 yrs old and unfortunately has MVD. Embrace has been fantastic with their coverage and has never questioned any of my claims. When I see people with CKC’s I always ask them do you have pet insurance? And if they don’t I refer them to this fantastic company

There was not good for me or my pets…

There was not good for me or my pets because of the fact is they want you to pay out of pocket and then they would reverse you and then like for the month that I didn’t even have the insurance they ended up taking money out of my account without my permission so I do not recommend nobody to Deal with them, but I mean that’s up to you guys not up to me, but yeah they’re not a good fit for me and mine. Thank you.

Total scam company, will gladly take your money upfront and then find any reason they can to weasel out of paying a claim. Save your money. Complete waste of time.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
