Why have it if every claim is…

Why have it if every claim is rejected!!! Dog had surgery and follow u visit for 122.00 is rejected after deductible!!! You call and you wait!!! Easy to file but rejection all the time is painful and expensive

Life Saver, literally.

Embrace has been the best pet insurance I've ever worked with. Always super easy to place a claim and they're incredibly fast to process them. With a pup with chronic pancreatitis, embrace has truly saved us. I'll always recommend them. 5 Star Company.

If I could give zero stars I would. They’re terrible. They don’t cover anything. You can also never get ahold of a person. Do not get this insurance.

Worst Pet Insurance

Still the worst possible form of pet insurance ever. Every single claim requires additional documentation and is stretched to longest possible wait for reimbursement. Find another pet insurer if you want to be treated decently. Embrace is just awful. Your reply is all lies. Who wants to wait on hold for an hour? I send an email to claims and am clear that I want to be contacted and get no response. Embrace is one big lie.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
