Auto-renew Scam Artists

We have had embrace for MULTIPLE years with zero claims, but premiums that went up with every "automatic renewal period"- without any kind of notice, email, snail mail, etc that justified the hike. When asked why I never received an email - they claimed they sent them, but that it isn't "their problem" if they aren't received. As a K9 professional that goes through my email and files them daily, as well as checks through spam - I call BS. I have a couple hundred bucks in legitimate claims to make, but will be cancelling embrace soon after.

My dog haven't been to the hospital yet but i trust this company because i have friends that have the same insurance and y'all handled everything well including customer service plus I'm reading all of the testimonies great reviews! 😁

So far so good with Embrace

So far so good with Embrace. My pup has been pretty healthy up until recently. First claim was seamless other than wanting more info that I didn't have because the dog was only seen for wellness. When clarified my reimbursement was sent shortly after. Just submitted another claim from ER with more issues hopefully will go just as well. so far very happy with Embrace.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
