I just cancelled my policy for my dog…
I just cancelled my policy for my dog due to a huge increase in the monthly payment. I had been a customer since 2019 so almost 8 years. If I could upload pics here I would show proof. My policy online shows my payment should be $51.51 per month. My credit card got charged $75.82 every month. I got an email that my plan renewal NEW monthly fee will be $134.68! In my entire 8 years I haven't had a claim pay out more than $400, because I have a healthy dog who doesn't have accidents. Absolutely outrageous and disappointing. While on the phone today with an Embrace representative, she suggested that if we started a new policy for my dog, with a waiting period, with new updated pre-existing conditions, that the policy could be cheaper. I explained to her that as a loyal customer that option really just FEELS wrong. It is wrong to not take care of your customers. I hope this review prevents at least a few people from using this company. Company ethics are important.
