Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

As a first-time dog owner and not knowing diddly squat about pet insurance, I spent an entire two weeks looking up and doing comparisons of about six insurance companies. Comparing what exactly, I couldn't tell you as at the time, I didn't really know what I was looking at. You don't know what you don't know. Embrace won my vote due to the mass amount of positive reviews I read about them. And that was from multiple sites. SUPER EASY to submit a claim and I love that I can do it on the app. So as soon as leave the vet's, I sit in my car as it warms up and submit my claim. I usually receive my refunds between 3-5 days unless I messed up somewhere and EMBRACE is really good at explaining/breaking down what you paid for. I also like their wellness add-on. I get my groomer's expenses covered. I will continue to use EMBRACE this year.

Amy helped me getting insurance for my kittens, and as a new owner never having insurances for animals this was all new to me. But Amy helped me through every step and explain everything to me as well answered all my questions that I had. Overall my experience was amazing and thank you to Amy I was able to get my kittens insurance and also able to join the wellness reward program which I think everyone should take advantage.

After purchasing pet insurance I received an email asking for the review. Yes, my purchase experience was great, my card went through. Yet I am leaving 2 stars due to this deceptive business practice of asking for the review before any services were actually provided. If I have any insurance claim I might come back and update this.

Found this company through USAA due to my veteran status. Both my dogs are covered. Recently, my BIG dog suffered a CCL tear (similar to an ACL tear in a human) while romping in the snow, and required a $5,000 emergency surgery. While you do have to pay the vet up front, the claims process for major medical expenses was fairly easy to navigate for reimbursement. Thanks Embrace!
