Having an aging pet has proved to be a challenging proposition. Conditions like cancer, raised creatinine levels, and the like, have called for costly treatment. Paying premiums helps me stay regimented at paying into my pet's health care at more affordable rates. Yes, you have to pay up front at the vet, when you actually take the pet to the vet, but getting refunds from Embrace Insurance to pay towards your pet's next treatment is helpful. Thank you, Embrace, for helping me care for my girl. We had a wellness checkup this time. Our girl is still aging :-( but we love her.

Just like all other pet insurance…

Just like all other pet insurance policies, you pay them monthly, they increase your annual for no reason and find ways not to cover expenses. Not to mention, with high deductibles and low reimbursement rates, so even if you get it covered you are still out of pocket a majority of the expense. I would have saved $15K not having any pet insurance. This is a scam, they all are.

When I try to log in, I can't

When I try to log in, a notice says "Unavailable at this time. I called and the girl contacted a computer geek at you company to fix the problem, and she did but I just tried to log in this am and the problem is happening again. I cannot use your services if I can't even get into my own account. Please fix this and let me know when it's fixed. I will give you to the end of the month. If not fixed by then, I will be cancelling my policy. Thank you Dave Chabriel. Policy number is EP00904978

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
