Love this Insurance

We have had Embrace Pet insurance for almost 6 years and we just love it. We have English Mastiffs so it was important for us to find insurance that would be enough to cover them with enough insurance to handle any life-threatening illness (which we hope NEVER happens). Having this insurance makes up feel comfortable that we could handle anything that might come along so we don't have to make a choice we would rather not. Embrace is very fast in processing claims so I can put their charges on a credit card and I have the money to pay all but our portion off within two weeks. Embrace's staff are kind and caring - I never feel like they don't want our claims, but the opposite, they are concerned about the health of our dogs. All in all, in my opinion, you cannot find a better pet insurance provider. They are far above the rest.

Awesome customer service

Embrace has been a life saver for my best friend. After getting the insurance on her she ended up with bladder stones and needed surgery. Each claim was acknowledged with an email and then another email when the claim was settled letting me know a check was on its way. The customer service I receive from Embrace I wish I could get from every where. Thank you!

Reasonable and dependable

I have had good experiences with claims processing over the past 1.5 years. Good coverage for my maltipoo when he needed to be microchipped, neutered, vaccinated and his wellness puppy exams. My dog's insurance coverage activation was quick and I usually received my reimbursement check within a week after the confirmation email from the insurance claims representative. This year I made an appointment for my dog's wellness exam and 1 year vaccinations after receiving an email that his coverage was renewed. I hadn't looked at the fine print that said the exact date of the renewal coverage (Nov 5). Being in the medical industry myself I am more accustomed to insurance renewing on the 1st of the month so I had made an appointment on Nov 3. When I submitted the claim it was actually initially denied because the services were rendered 2 days before the renewal of the policy. I emailed back concerned that my claim was denied when I had already been notified about the policy renewal. The claims department was understanding and reimbursed me the entire claim. That to me is excellent customer service. They have assured me that they are reasonable and do care for my dog's medical needs. I appreciate that I feel that I am speaking to a person and not just another insurance company. Embrace is a great pet insurance and I highly recommend them.

Outstanding!

I've had a couple of claims this year for my new puppy and they have all been handled in a professional manner with no problems. If I had a complaint, though, it was that it seemed to take a long time for processing. (I was told at one point that the claims system was being upgraded and that was the reason for the delay). But what happened today makes me willing to forget anything in the past. The service I got was exceptional. My puppy needed surgery for an eyelid defect. I had it precertified with Embrace, and they agreed to cover everything in accordance with my policy. The surgery was last week. I asked the vet to please submit the claim form promptly. Well, it took multiple phone calls and over a week to get the claim form from the vet. Ultimately, I had the vet fax the form to me and I sent it in to Embrace. The rep I had been talking to all week (asking if they got it yet) had been very helpful so far and I asked for a favor: given the added expenses around the holiday season and the cost of the surgery, I asked if they could somehow expedite the processing of the claim. He said they would try. TWO HOURS LATER, I got an email saying the claim had been approved and my reimbursement would be issued today!!! TWO HOURS!!!! I have never had such wonderful service from any sort of insurance provider, whether for pets or people. THANK YOU EMBRACE!

Wow! Easy claim processing and great communication

Embrace is a great insurance company. Prompt processing of my claim and communication via email throughout the process.Would recommend.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
