Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I get the feeling they are a little disorganized but, overall, I am like this company. Their staff seem very concerned and willing to help.

Not reading my policies (we have 5 dogs covered with Embrace), I recently submitted a huge bill for our oldest going back almost a year for five surgeries and alot of rehabilitative therapy (about $15,000 worth). While I was very nicely informed that I should submit claims within 60 days of incurring the costs (I'm sorry! I'll do that in the future), Embrace very quickly reviewed the expenses and reimbursed $5,000, the maximum on the accident policy for this dog. While I had hoped for more, this is exactly what was allowed (again, I had neglected to read the policy), and it was paid promptly with no hassle. And it came with personal notes from two Embrace employees, asking how my dog was doing, expressing genuine concern. I doubt any other pet insurance company could do as much as Embrace does!!!

I AM 67 AND RECENTLY SENT IN MY LITTLE GIRL'S MEDICAL BILLS THAT I HAD NOT TAKEN CARE OF FOR SOME TIME BECAUSE I WAS GOING THROUGH BREAST CANCER TREATMENT. THE GIRLS I SPOKE TO ABOUT IT ADVISED ME AND WERE VERY HELPFUL AND SUPPORTIVE TO ME. I CAN'T BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW THANKFUL I TRULY AM AND HOW MUCH I APPRECIATED THEIR HELP. My almost two year old Coton de Tulear puppy is a very healthy breed and I want to make sure she stays healthy so the Wellness Program is perfect for me. Because of this program, I am able to afford all of her required shots and preventive treatments such as heartworm, flea and tick prevention meds. It works like a "health savings account".My pup is healthy, happy, and always gets the best of care. The forms are easy to file by my vet and the reimbursements are quick usually within 2 weeks. My pup did have one clain when she developed a limp due to a pulled muscle. It was handled quickly and of course will apply to the deductible which was in the amount that I chose. You can basically design your own policy, which is great since everyone's needs and bugets are different.

I bought pet insurance when I bought my Beagle puppy Reese's. I already had a cat, Jango, but did not invest in insurance with him. I wish I had insurance with Jango as he was diagnosed with asthma two years after I got him. I learned from that mistake and got insurance. I recently discovered a spot on Reese's ear that was bleeding and another spot on one of her paws. It turned out to be a benign cyst. I wasn't sure if this was covered by my insurance. I submitted a claim and received an email that I would be receiving a refund. I wasn't anticipating a refund, but it was nice to see the check when it arrived. I always though pet insurance was unnecessary, but I definitely realize just how important it is.
