Excellent customer service

Embrace informed me immediately that they received my claim and followed up with my questions. I really appreciated the clarity of their explanation of benefits. They have been upfront about which conditions will not be covered and promptly reimbursed me for the submitted claims. I have been thoroughly impressed with Embrace and only wish my own health insurance worked this well!

Great Company!

Embrace was wonderful to work with when Layla was so sick. They paid what they said they would with no hassles & kept in contact with me through the whole process. Well worth the money!!

They Truly Care About Their Customers and The Pets

We have had major claims on two of our dogs while being an Embrace customer (fortunately not in the same year!). They have been very helpful in assisting us with the claim process and have been very quick in sending the reimbursment. Not only have they been supportive, they have followed up with us concerning how our dogs were doing while they recovered! They've made us feel like our dogs were important to them and not just a "number" in their files. We have recommended Embrace to many of our dog friends!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
