Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I've had Embrace for a year. In that short time, Gus has needed two surgeries. The process was easy and I received the amounts expected. I have recommended Embrace to friends and will continue to do so.

Once again, my claim was handled professionally and in a timely fashion. They cover what is promised and communicate every step along the way. Wish more companies handled customers like that.

We recently joined the Embrace family and purchased insurance for our dog and our cat. We did a ton of research online for all of the pet insurance companies and Embrace seemed to have the best reviews. And now we see why. When our indoor Persian cat Luci, snuck out of the house and got hit by a car we were devastated. After many appointments and a surgery we are happy to report that she is recovering nicely from an amputated tail and broken pelvis. We filed our claims with Embrace and they immediately confirmed receipt and even emailed us personally a few days later to let us know that there would be a slight delay in reviewing our claims. They happened to be updating their claims system at the time. We all know technology updates are necessary but we also know that companies don't always share this type of information and may just leave you impacted. Great job Embrace! You handled that perfectly. Right then I knew they cared. And just so you know the delay wasn't very long. Our claims process took less than 3 weeks. They kept in touch throughout the process and whenever we called to ask questions the customer service was stellar. They are always pleasant and really do treat you like part of their family. They showed sincere concern for our Luci and made every interaction personal. Their claims settlement process is very straight forward and efficient, their statements are easy to understand. Hard to get started with Embrace.... It took more than four months to get medical records reconciled with actual facts of the dogs conditions. I understand why insurance companies do not cover existing conditions, however the exclusionary policy left me at odds with Embrace. Most people would have given up the fight....we were finally able to get the exclusions removed.....Embrace did cover the examination costs....
