Professional and fast

This is my first experience with pet insurance and Embrace has lived up to it's reputation. Claims are handled quickly,explanations of how benefits are calculated are clear and concise and their customer relations are excellent. The kept me up to date on all phases of claim status-receipt, processing and settlement. I wish my "people" insurance was as easy.

Fantastic company - seamless reimbursements

I have nothing but great things to say about this insurance company. My French bulldog had a herniated disc and I was extremely upset because her hind legs were paralyzed. My boss asked me what insurance company I use cause he needs insurance for his two dogs. He asked if they were any good? I said we will see on how long it will take to get my claim paid. It took less than 10 working days..unbelievable. I am telling all my pet owner friends to get this insurance. I am very thankful for their kind approach when speaking with them on the phone as well.. I give them an A+++

Efficient Claim Processing

I had to take my boxer, Stanley, to ER due to bloat condition. He is fine now. After this vet visit,I would recommend feeding your dog two or three smaller meals a day rather than one large one. The claim was handled very efficiently by Embrace and I was given status updates along the way. Only took 2 weeks to process and pay my claim. Thank you Embrace for the great service!!

Reliable and good communication

Just like with your children, you just never know when something weird, traumatic or unexpected is going to come up and you don't hesitate to make them better; but you're also hit HARD with the bills. I used to roll my eyes at 'pet insurance' and the eccentric people who bought into it ; but with one big playful dog and another very active dog....like kids...unexpected things can happen, and I'm beyond grateful now that I bought insurance to help with the bills. It only takes one mishap....and now I'm grateful and a firm believer in pet insurance.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
