Not as Good as it Sounds!
We have two dogs and just attempted to file our first claim after two years of having coverage, 1st they wanted all of the medical records for the year before we got our dogs (we got them at 8 weeks of age), then they needed detailed records for every vet visit to make sure there weren't any reasons to exclude the latest claim. One excuse after another to avoid a claim. Then it was the terms and conditions list that excludes claims for certain events. I'm really glad my health insurance isn't this poor or I wouldn't be here to complain! AVOID!

Still the best!!
We have had other pet insurance and I did a lot of research before choosing Embrace for our now four year old Boxer/Bulldog mix. The personalized, friendly service of Embrace is the best we've ever received. I have recommended Embrace to our dog park friends and to our local vets. Thank you for helping us feel secure in knowing that we will have the help we need if/when we need it to make the best decision in caring for our beloved pup.

Extremely pleased with Embrace's quick response!
My wife and I are so very pleased with this company! We purchased the insurance plan, including the wellness plan, for our Miniature Schnauzer, and took him into the vet to be neutered the very next day. Within two days of submitting the claim, we received a response, and within five days, we were notified our reimbursement check was on the way.
We would highly recommend this insurance plan to everyone!!

Not perfect, but the best you're gonna get
The deductible is unfortunate; however, it does make the pain a little less painful when your wallet empties for your cat. At least it gives you the hope to know you CAN swing it financially and give your pet the chance he or she wouldn't have gotten without the cushion of insurance.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
