Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

All around I really enjoy working with Embrace. Very quick turnaround on claims, checks are always received timely way (and of course that is very much appreciated). My dog means the world to me -- she's FAMILY -- and Embrace helps caring for her needs a very easy and straightforward process. They are a pleasure to work with from start to finish!!!

I have been a member of Embrace for three years and I LOVE THEM! I absolutely am so grateful for them! Recently, my 4 1/2 year old English Mastiff Tesla, who is my child, was told she needed TPLO surgery on her left knee. So far the surgery, medication and other unexpected doctor visits have totaled $3,571. Thank goodness I have Embrace Insurance because I got reimburse for 80%. Most insurance companies will have a limit to what they will pay for and you have to pay for the remaining balance but Embrace will work with you to save as much money as possible. Obviously you choose your percentage when you sign up for Embrace and this was after my deductibles so everything was fully covered. I ended up saving $2,852 which I was relieved because I am a college student and was also told her right knee may be needing surgery after her left knee recovers. I also am pleased with how quickly the reimbursements came in. It took a total of ten days (including weekends), which I was so happy for! I never had doubts with Embrace (I researched insurance companies for 3 days straight) and NEVER had an issue. I am so pleased with them and tell so many people who love their fur child as much as I do, all about them. The only complaint I have is when I moved from NJ to CO, my monthly payments went up by $15, which I do not see how moving affects my dog Insurance? I am thinking about becoming an ambassador for Embrace since I already tell everyone I know to go with them! Thank you Embrace, you are a life saver!

I submitted a claim a month ago and I am still waiting for a determination if the claim will be accepted and a reimbursement. When I originally enrolled, I provided all the medical history I had from the adoption agency and my first vet visit, however when I needed to file my first claim, Embrace claimed they needed to request the medical history from my vet for three and a half weeks now. My claim was for an injury related to a fall, so I don't know how a medical history would have any impact on that claim. Not like there is a preexisting condition possibility. The customer service reps I have dealt with via email and phone calls have not been helpful and have blamed my vet. I've had other claims for my other dog that went very smoothly, and I have even recommended Embrace to other people, so I'm not sure if there was a recent change at Embrace but I am not happy. If I had this experience first I would have cancelled the insurance and not insured another dog.

Our 6 year old Toy Poodle, Juzi, was diagnosed with stage 3-4 lymphoma a little more than a month ago. We decided immediately to proceed with chemo-therapy as the cancer was fast growing. Having coverage under Embrace made that an easy decision for us. Juzi did not take her first chemo well and developed chemo-induced sepsis; so, she had to be hospitalized. She fought through that. Juzi has now finished her first cycle of 4 chemo treatments and is doing very well. Embrace has covered 80% of all the expenses after deductible. The claim process was very straight forward; our vet offices submitted the claim form and invoices directly, and we received our reimbursement swiftly. Going through the period of potentially losing our dog was very difficult, and Embrace truly offered us peace of mind through this. Juzi still has several more months of chemo therapy sessions, and we are very glad that Embrace has helped us able to better predict and manage our costs. Getting Embrace insurance for our dogs is one of the best decisions we've made.

Keeping my two cats happy and healthy means a lot to me. It's a relief knowing that the wellness plans help me be a responsible pet owner, or should I say "ownee"?
