Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Last February, my Shepherd Mix suffered another catastrophic event. Her second ACL busted while running around with other dogs in the playground. Embrace was there , as they were the first time this happened, and responded in a professional and timely fashion to cover the TPLO. Embrace also offered me the opportunity to consult an online vet before deciding whether to proceed or not with the surgery the first time. When I contacted the Vet I assumed she would try to talk me out of this expensive procedure given her affiliation with Embrace. To my amazement, after getting my dog's profile, she recommended the opration instead of therapy as a result of her weight of 60 lbs. I've referred two dog owners to Embrace and both are quite happy with the choice. Definetly recommend them.

Process claims quickly. Usually within 1 week .

I have had it with Embrace finding one excuse after another not to cover my pets claims!!!! I have 4 pets with you and every time I submit something there is an issue!!! Why do I need your insurance? I might as well put the $81 a month in the bank, so I will have a way to cover their issues that arise that you don't feel you should pay. Like a ruptured cyst on my dogs tail that may need amputation at some point? Or my cat need anesthesia because he had lesions in his mouth requiring 8 teeth to be pulled and probably more later? You viewed anesthesia as not medically necessary, because they also cleaned what was left of his teeth! You know, because that would have been comfortable for them to keep him awake and alert for that procedure!! So done with EMBRACE and their lack of respect for my pets problems. Why did I sign on for this if you were going to find an excuse not to cover every claim???

I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy using our coverage was when our cat got sick last month. Payouts were quick to arrive and customer service was great.

We have had Embrace Pet Insurance for the past year and a half. We currently have three dogs covered under both the insurance and their wellness program. Fortunately, we have not needed to use our insurance much, but the last few months have been one thing after another. Despite some of the high claims we have had to submit, the process has always been very smooth and efficient, payments have been timely, and the customer service has always been phenomenal.
