Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I found Embrace through petinsurancequotes.com. I was torn between this provider and ASPCA, but I'm glad I chose Embrace. Having insurance with them has helped out with covering unexpected expenses for my two cats. Thankfully, I've only had to file claims a couple of times. Recently, one of my cats was having behavioral issues that I took him to the vet for, and Embrace covered nearly the whole visit (~$200)! The claim process was a little long, but the reimbursement was worth the wait. I only wish that the Wellness Rewards were a bit more affordable to cover routine expenses, but that's just something I'll need to budget for.

I’ve been paying every month for a year, my dog has an accident, and I submitted everything to them, they denied the claim saying it wasn’t an accident when the veterinarians notes clearly said it was an accident for acute lameness. Long story short, after I placed a call to them, they are only paying out $41 and my bill was over 200. They said I would’ve got more if my dog was in the rewards program which nobody ever told me about and it would be more money that I would have to pay monthly. I canceled.

I never had a bad experience with Embrace, my dog has a really bad skin condition. I have to take her to the dermatologist every three months or so and they always address my claim appropriately.

I have kept 7 dogs insured with embrace for six years. Easy to submit. Good prices. Great coverage! Always insure your puppies asap. Last one was insured 9 days then swallowed a treble fish hook! Saved $500+on surgery.
