True to their word and unbelievably fast claim reimbursement

Our dog was diagnosed with a choroid plexus tumor between his brain stem and his cerebellum. As surgery was extremely risky, we opted for stereotactic radiation therapy for our boy. So far his claims have been over $11,000 and with the follow-up MRI n a few months, we will probably come close to maxing out our $15,000 claim limit for this year. Because there is no lifetime maximum, if he needs more treatment in the future, we can get it for him. I can't say enough good things about how Embrace has treated us. As soon as they have received a claim, they have reviewed it and issued a refund by direct deposit within just a few days. We have not even had to carry over a credit card balance for this while waiting for a refund! Every dog I own from now on will be covered by Embrace, and I hope to God we won't ever need to use it again!

Responds quickly to claims

Overall good experience with Embrace. Peace of mind knowing pets are covered for medical emergencies and illness. I chose prescription coverage and that helped greatly too when my pet was diagnosed with an illness.

First Pet Insurance Experience - Topnotch!

As a Board Certified Neurosurgeon, I have spent a professional lifetime dealing with Health Insurance. It's never been as straight forward, and efficiently handled, in the Human Domaine, as Embrace Pet Insurance, manages my Charlie's, wellness, illness, and injuries. And the costs are equally gratifying.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
