Embrace was easy to work with on my first claims

I am in the midst of my first claims on my dog. We have carried insurance for 4 years on 2 dogs and not needed it before. Now my dog is ill and I am in the midst of worrying about her but I don't have to worry about my vet bills. Embrace has made filing each invoice and receiving reimbursement quick and easy. Easy claim submission

Easy claim submission, but could you add more options for the wellness rewards? Under diagnosis, perhaps another option that takes one straight to the routine grooming option? Just a thought, as I adjust to your program. Thank you!

THE WORSE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH…

THE WORSE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH A PET INSURANCE COMPANY!! They were not willing to cover any of the medical bills that were incurred for my pet's condition. They made their own diagnosis disregarding the doctors' notes, exams, and diagnosis they were given via the doctor and came to their own conclusions and not the conclusions of the doctors/experts. This was absolutely ridiculous!! When a claim was finally approved after much back and forth. They took their own fee out of the reimbursement, leaving me with close to no money being reimbursed. What is the point of being insured when this company is not willing to cover anything. However, they will faithfully take your monthly charge for your policy!!! Would not recommend AT ALL!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
