After speaking to the claims adjuster

After speaking to the claims adjuster, he made it out that my claims would not be approved, this trying to stick me with the entire vet bill. As a result, I spoke to USAA and filed a complaint regarding the lack of care by your adjuster. You were minutes from having a lawsuit filed

Despite the good service and payment in…

Despite the good service and payment without problem on one claim in the amount of $121.00 for the year, this company raised my rates by 30% to over $200/month - the highest of any other insurance. Even worse, when I went online and entered all the information using the same criteria as if I had a new dog to enroll, the quoted price was $136/month, $60 l less per month than they quoted me for my existing policy. That is $720 per year. I find their claim that this is based on "actuarial statistics" ludicrous since Trupanion, who covers my other dog with chronic liver disease and hypothyroidism, and who had extensive monthly labwork, a liver biopsy, and takes multiple medications, did not raise me once cent and is charging only $114/month for an intact female that is only a year younger and in the same location - also based on actuarial statistics. In fact, I am the only person to own this breed in my entire area and have not changed my vet, so I AM the actuarial statistic they rely upon. I find this completely unacceptable and am going elsewhere.

simple

The process of filing a claim was simple. It is the lack of reimbursement that is frustrating. Why is it considered a wellness visit when my cat was brought in for a recheck of multiple issues?
