Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I haven't gotten any claims reviewed yet but I have to say that the claim submission experience couldn't be easier. Human health insurance should follow this example!

Embrace representatives pushed and pushed for me to get a ligament and joint review for my dog within the first six months of the policy. We did because it was explained as being helpful for us. The only thing noted was mild crepitus, meaning her knees pop occasionally when tested. Fast forward two years, we have never missed a payment and never had a claim outside of wellness which is a seperate policy anyway. My dog has a ruptured ACL. Since her knees mildly popped two years ago, they are refusing to even cover the initial visit which identified it, much less the surgery she now needs. They have very unethical business practices. They only care about the bottom line and not the clients or the animals.

Fast and easy

Our experience with Embrace Insurance has been very positive. Our dog had one emergency surgery and two other covered surgeries, and they paid the amount stated in the policy. We felt very lucky to have gotten insurance when our almost seven year-old Doberman was very young. The only reason they did not get five stars is that they do raise the premium every year depending on the dog type and age. However, we feel this is fair.

This company has been wonderful! They are easy to work with- emails are answered quickly and thoroughly, claims are paid very promptly, submitting a claim online is super easy. They were so compassionate when one of my dogs passed away and if I hadn't already spent all his allocated wellness costs, they would have covered part of his after care. I can't say enough great things about them
