This company is terrible

This company is terrible. I submitted two claims over an 8th month time period and they never provided any response to indicate whether those claims would be paid or not. Rather, they just kept sending e-mails stating that they had not received all of the medical records requested from a particular vet's office even after I obtained the records and sent them to the company myself more than once. In addition, the premium just kept increasing from the moment that I purchased the policies. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Frustrated, bu victorious

I have finely conquered you claims procedure. No matter what you ask far and I provide, it's never enough. I had to go back to my Vet's office three times to get information from them. Not their fault, your claims department is vague and my guess is they hope you'll give up. So after two years of trying I persevered and met my deductable.

Don't be Scamed

Don't be Scamed ! Buyer Beware, they will give you the run around for months and never pay your claim! Bad Business , Do not trust this company! You better off saving the payment in a separate account for your fur babies issues.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
