Excellent customer service. Easy claims process and the EOBs are easy to read. The phone app is very untuitive and uncluttered. They stood by their word when my dog was hospitalized.

"Kind and compassionate" are not words I typically associate with insurance, but they apply to Embrace. My dog got very sick and spent over a week in and out of the emergency veterinary hospital. The experience was terrible enough, and though cost was a big concern for me, I was willing to spend money to do right by my dog. Embrace gave me the peace of mind that I wouldn't go broke trying to save his life. It was easy to submit claims via their app, and they got processed quickly. Sadly, my dog did not survive. Embrace Customer Service was so kind to me when I contacted him about removing him from my policy. Even the claims adjusters/reviewers left kind comments in the messages alerting me that my claim was complete. They really care about animals and the humans that love them.

Making a claim is so easy and straightforward. Someone always gets in contact about the claim within a day or two.

Poor notice of “pre-existing conditions not being covered forever. A cat that had mild tartar at one point was excluded from any future dental coverage. A dog with a repaired knee injury excluded from any future orthopedic conditions coverage? Complete rip off! A two star only because they are at least polite on the phone.
