Embrace pet insurance is the best!

Embrace has been a blessing for my two rescue furbabies since 2016. Recently my male Schnorkie had a complete hind leg CCL tear. Embrace processed and settled my emergency visit claim within 48 hours from submission. I sent the CCL surgery precertification form simultaneously and it was approved within 72 hours. My furbaby had his surgery within 72 hours of injury and is in recovery now. I am so grateful for embrace pet insurance allowing me to focus on my furbaby without having to stress about the overall cost of everything.

Fast and fair

I had recently decided to get pet insurance for my 7 year old lab since she was starting to get older and I wanted to be sure she could be supported in case anything ever happened. She has never had any issues before that would be counted as a emergency or existing ailment. It was not even a week after signed up when she got bitten by a rattlesnake when playing outdoors. Embrace quickly accepted the entire claim with no questions asked.

The claims process was fast and easy

The claims process was very easy and reimbursement was on time. $10,000 surgery on left rear knee was reimbursed and then some for followups.

My puppy had a surgery on her left back knee. I paid cash out of pocket for the surgery. Embrace Pet Insurance reimbursed me every penny. Please make sure you have all your medical records it’s important to get your reimbursed.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
