Worth every penny

While pet insurance can be pricey, emergencies and aging pets is even more pricey. I know with my embrace policy I can set my budget and feel confident knowing the zoo is covered. Embrace quickly refunds our expenses through direct deposit, and I know I can focus on simply enjoying my furchildren

Really frustrated.\\\\\\\

A claim reimbursement check was lost or stolen in the mail. I informed Embrace of this WEEKS ago, and am still getting the run-around that "billing is looking into it". It seems maybe the billing department is just one overworked person? That's the only explanation I can see for why this is taking so long. EDIT: After about a month, they FINALLY reissued the payment. Again, really frustrating that it took so long, as it was about $3,000. But on the other hand, they have reimbursed every claim I've sent in, so I can't complain too much.

On hold for 30 min

On hold for 30 min , left a call back number 3 times couldn’t get a hold of them . Had to contact GEICO to get a hold of a real individual . Ended up canceling with them .

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
