There are far better options

A company that sees your pets as bags of money with dollar signs on them. Increase in premiums are expected, however, seeing your premium go up with $1800 per year is shocking. To get zero sympathy from them just rubs salt in that wound. This after making zero claims for a year. Do not bother with this company. The people that work for them are cold and unsympathetic. Make no mistake, they run a business and your pets are the products.

Having insurance when my puppy ate a squeaky toy was such a relief. Using the app to file the claim was super easy and the timely updates were awesome. Getting Embrace is one of the best decisions I made.

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!

WORST COMPANY EVER!!! I was with ASPCA insurance (the best) but went with embrace because they offered a promotion for military families. I had 8 pets at the time so insurance was getting costly. One of my pigs started getting sick, took her to the vet turned out she had diabetes (new onset) submitted claims to them & all claims were denied. They said because I took her to the emergency the year before for what turned out to be gas, (vet said she probably got into something she shouldn’t have at that visit records clearly show no medical history & not on any medications) that it was related to diabetes! I fought with them for almost a year & they wouldn’t budge! Now my baby is sick with no coverage! I immediately canceled all of my other pets & went back to ASPCA insurance. STAY CLEAR OF EMBRACE!!

I paid my years worth of premiums in…

I paid my years worth of premiums in full in early March. I submitted claims for $500 for a 10 yo healthy dog but he needed some health maintainence. I got back $83. This company is a scam, they don’t answer their phone and don’t return phone calls. I did speak to one very nice man who was relatively new with the company. He tried to be helpful but to no avail. I requested the balance of my unused premiums back. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
