Claim process was easy to follow

Overall they were easy to work with in getting the claim paid. There seemed to be some confusion regarding medical records that had been submitted, but could not be found in your system, but it was resolved satisfactorily.

So easy!

So easy to submit a claim! Great website. Love the little space dog logo too. This isn't my first claim with them. The first one was processed quickly and they covered everything listed in the contract without hassle.

We were originally very happy to get…

We were originally very happy to get both of our dogs covered on this plan. Is also partnered with our insurance carrier so it made it easy. Unfortunately, nothing as of yet has been covered. Just a plan as it was supposed to cover neutering of our dog that we just got. Well, we had the procedure done and they refused to cover it. They also refused to cover well care for our other dog. This is starting to smile more and more like a fraud. The plan looks great on paper, but you are never under coverage.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
