Embrace Disappointment
My Pet has been with Embrace since he was born and their service has always been a five star experience. Up until I had a claim from 2023 that I realized I never submitted due to ongoing hospitalizations, having two strokes and now I suffer from seizures. When asked if they could please make an exception, the representative placed me on hold for several minutes to ask a manager. I was then asked if I had other claims I planned to submit and I said yes (2) . Due to a recent dental surgery my baby needed. He had abscess, bloody stools etc. She then placed me on hold again, came back and said they would not honor the old claim. I was full of disappointment because I have not submitted any claims since 2021.
My plan increases from paying 54, 70 and now to over 120. I just told over the phone I hope you feel better. I just don’t understand where the compassion within this conversation was and ended. I’ve been in the Healthcare industry for over 25 years and I would do everything in my power to help a patient and within the community.
