If you want throw money away. This is your place for pet insurance

Cat with serious health concerns. But embrace sees weight loss not as a symptom but as a preexisting condition. The rational for denial of all claims is not based in science. They use the most ridiculous reason to not pay a possible cancer diagnosis. You would think they scan on you records for your pet. Then search on words to claim pre existing condition. Pet insurance is sketchy to begin with. You will always pay more the. They payout. Appeals are just as ridiculous. So when faced with 2k charges for possible cancer diagnosis. They will use weight loss a pre existing condtio To deny everything. Every previous cold, scratch, anorexia. They have. Your records and just deny on symptoms. Word search is a great wayto find reasons deny They refuse topay claims. Why do I have e pet insurance? Especially when your pet is older. They have records to search anything and deny. But the denial is not based on symptoms not actual pre existing conditions. So will be canceling the money would be better saved in a bank account. My cat may have a nasal tumor. But because cat sneezes, not covered. Sneezing is a pre existing condition. So ruling out nasal cancer is impossible beit requires a catscan and rhinoscope.Thats about $3500. On top of the 2k I paid. But embrace does not see this as a condition that should be investigated. If per sneezed the head is not covered. if pet lost weight and latter a serious weight loss.Claims Denied Because weight loss Is pre existin. If you have a young pet you might get reimbursed. Older pets, will be denied. The claims adjusters don’t seem To have any knowledge other then denyjng claims on key words.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

They said my dog was anxious and nervous, and was prescribed Trazadone, but Cassie Jane has NEVER taken trazedone, nor was it ever prescribed for her. I have owned her since last May! It is almost a YEAR! She has NOT taken TRAZEDONE, EVER,  and she is as sweet and laid back as a dog could possibly be, with people!!! She was nervous on her first visit to the vet as she was just rescued the day before (after being in boarding in a cage for 3 +  months) and was ill with food poisoning and worms. Their policy is a scam! It took from January until now for a medical review to be held when I submitted everything to the person who sold me the policy, before I took out the POLICY! Her name was Katie. Embrace waited until 3 months after the cancelation refund deadline to review her files! FOREWARNED IS FOR-ARMED!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE EMBRACE PET INSURANCE!!! I am about to report them to the BBB! Cassie Jane,my rescue dog, had worms and food poisoning when I rescued her, and I got $2000 bill from the Emergency room where I had to take her for projectile diarrhea and vomiting the day after I got her. Insurance said it is a preexisting condition so they won't cover ANY vomiting or diarrhea for a period of ONE YEAR....AAAND, if she vomits or gets diarrhea again, before that one year period, it will not be covered and will be considered pre existing!!! WTAF???? What dog never vomits or gets diarrhea???? It was caused by food poisoning and worms!!!! I am so angry I am fit to be tied. I sent Cassie Jane's records in JANUARY! There is a 30 day cancelation refund but despite me calling them over and over, they dragged out her review for the records 3 1/2 months until I could no longer get a refund and paid them almost $400! DO NOT GET EMBRACE PET INSURANCE! BAD BAD BAD- WORSE THAN BAD!

Embrace, An Excellent Choice for Care

Embrace was always there but I was unable to use the insurance because the Vet would not wait for the insurance to pay. They want cash up front. But I had wonderful coverage for my Zoey through them and if I had the money to pay cash for treatment and then get reimbursed it wouldn't be a problem. Embrace is an excellent insurance and I had the best for Zoey through them.
