I cannot express enough gratitude to…
I cannot express enough gratitude to Embrace Pet Insurance for their incredible support during one of the most challenging times for our family. When our beloved dog was diagnosed with cancer, it was devastating. The journey ahead seemed overwhelming, especially with the unexpected costs of treatments and the eventual need for amputation to save our furry friend’s life.
Embrace was there for us every step of the way. The claims process was straightforward and hassle-free, and their compassionate team truly understood what we were going through. They quickly processed our claims, and we were able to focus on what mattered most—helping our dog recover. Thanks to Embrace, we didn’t have to make heartbreaking decisions based on cost. Worst Pet Insurance Ever
We paid about $180 every month for multiple pets. Anytime we had to go to the vet for one of our pets we had to fight tooth and nail to get them to cover.
I hated going to the vet because submitting to insurance was always a fight. Embrace always finds a way to not pay. If I could give it zero stars I would.
They were happy to take our money every month for the past 8 months but when it came for them to pay they always found an excuse not to.

Claims take an extremely long process…
Claims take an extremely long process for answers. Some dog parents are struggling to care for our fur babies. Embrace could do a better job with finalizing claims.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
