Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Each time I try to submit a new claim online, I go and select my vet and the app shuts down. This has been happening for months. I deleted the app, redownloaded, same problem. I mentioned this issue back several months ago to a representative (since I had to call) and they said they would pass it along. Not sure that happened. I also cannot just view my documents in the app, they have to be downloaded. With the amount charged for pet insurance, I would expect some better tech behind the digital experience, including the new claim experience. Something like that should be available on the app and not continuously crashing the app.

I just recently acquired pet insurance through Embrace for 2 Boxer dogs ages 5 & 6. I had never even considered pet insurance but my son relayed a story to me regarding his friend who's dog needed immediate surgery for an unsuspected injury. I decided maybe it best that I secure insurance as I've learned that anything is liable to happen without notice. I never thought I would even need to use it, but I was thinking it better to be safe than sorry. It wasn't but 4 months into my new policy that the unexpected and unfortunate occurred . My dogs were in a battle with a groundhog and the groundhog won. Both dogs sustained injuries some requiring surgery. Embrace made it easy to submit claims and everyone I have interacted with at the company has been outstanding!!

Following a traumatic injury to my dog, Embrace stepped up and assisted me in filing my several claims. Each and every employee I spoke with was caring and helpful. I even received an Embrace "care" package as a thoughtful gift! All claims were promptly approved and reimbursement sent! Gotta love Embrace!

Best pet insurance ever. Never used when my lab mix was young except for wellness and claims always processed quickly. Now that he is 11 and is starting to have issues, Claims have been handled quickly. Would definitely recommend

If I could leave zero stars I would. My dog developed cancer and her claims weren't covered because she had a previous growth removed from a separate part of her body years earlier. Due to circumstances outside of my control, the previous growth was not sent for pathology as the vet said it did not seem to be cancerous. We ended up having to pay around $1500 out of pocket even though the point of having this coverage was to help in times of need like this. If my dog did not pass away, I would not renew my insurance because Embrace also wanted to almost double the premium on her coverage when renewal was due. Find a different company that is more willing to work with you for things like this because even asking to follow up and figure out more information about why our claims were denied, no one will contact us back.
