Very unsatisfied with our Embrace…
Very unsatisfied with our Embrace experience. Throughout the course of our pets life, Embrace denied every claim we ever submitted, including a dental cleaning claim due to a “pre-existing condition” of dental tartar that was documented by our vet during a wellness visit. Our vet agreed that was the most ridiculous thing she’d ever heard of in her 30 years of practicing veterinary medicine. Dental tartar is absolutely NOT a pre-existing condition, by any standard, except for Embrace pet insurance, so they don’t have to reimburse for dental cleanings. We appealed their decision, with the help of our vet, and Embrace denied our appeal, standing by their decision that dental tartar and plaque was a pre-existing condition.
Sadly, Embrace was of little help to us throughout the duration of our pets life. They reimbursed for her end of life claims and euthanasia but only after they re-requested medical records that had already been sent. It also took them two and a half weeks to review and reimburse. When you spend several thousand dollars on end of life care, you depend on your pet insurance to be there for you and reimburse in a timely manner.
We have five other pets that we have insurance policies on but NOT with Embrace. Would not recommend Embrace to anyone.
