Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Most of their employees are morons. Even wrote a letter to the CEO of the company. They had to sign for it. Got no reply! You would think a pet insurance company would be able to identify dog breeds. After 3 months some moron employee stated I had miss informed them about my dogs breed which is a "mixed breed" and would be changing it to a thoroughbred dog and doubling my premiums. My dog is a Doodle and a simple search on google will show anyone that a doodle is always a mixed breed dog. The are always a mix between a poodle and something else and mine is a Bernese Mountain dog doodle or for short a "Bernie Doodle". I cancelled after three text messages to this guys trying to get him to understand!!!! Never again!

They were very clear and helpful

This was a very uncomplicated process. Not sure yet of outcome. My service dog a GSD had an extremely enlarged spleen ready to rupture. It was removed surgically with a liver sample and everything sent to a lab. His stomach also was pinned to prevent bloat and torsion which can happen after spleen removal. My baby bear is slowly recovering, but no lab results yet, so I do not know if malignancy exists. I am glad I have Embrace on my side because it was very expensive for someone now on a fixed income. I think there should be a way of uploading the vet's diagnosis and surgery which indicates what is going on.

This company has been great with me. Just when I thought it costed too much, my dog got sick and she needed over $1000 of care. My plan covers most of it and I am so grateful that Embrace was around. The help desk also helped me break down what would be covered.

Very straight forward and fast reimbursement time, meaning filing a claim online and being reimbursed within two days! Customer server is very helpful and prices are good.
