So far I am happy

So far I am happy, but I haven’t needed to use it just yet. So more to come. I get reminders what seems like every couple days… which seems to just get deleted. Bc it only reminders as to how to make or submit a claim that I don’t need yet. The App seems very user friendly. So it seems like a slight waste to email. But overall I’m happy so far. I’ll review again when I use the service for the first time

Needs a better functioning website…

A chat line or email/ticket support would be useful given that wait times are impossibly long. A better functioning website would be great too. I’m just trying to add Preventative Care to my plan, yet I have to call to get it added? In 2022? I find it astounding that the level of service does not reflect the amount I pay each month.

ASPCA Trusted and Recommended

Although I just started insurance for my pup, ASPCA had the most extensive coverage for our needs and the coverage came with very high recommendations. I also felt more comfortable going with ASPCA whose mission is caring for animals, unlike most of the other companies that are simply insurance companies that jave nothing to do with animal care. Thank ou for your hard work!

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
