It took some time to get reimbursed but…
It took some time to get reimbursed but they did! I’d never used any pet insurance and was unsure it really did what they claim. Yes, thank you ASPCA, really helped our Hoku in her time of need! Aloha, Marcia on Maui

No insurance policy
I went to your website last week to purchase medical insurance for my dog, and I did find a plan, entered my dog's information and paid. So far, I have not received a welcome package, a copy of the policy, or anything else from you. I know that you charged me the first month premium, but nothing else has happened. I am wondering what follows. Do I have to call you in order to get a policy number, and related documents that any professional insurance company would offer? I am beginning to regret choosing you to take care of my dog.

Good Plan and Easy Process
Owning a dog can get expensive over the lifetime of having them. After having different coverage for previous pets, I knew I wanted to get coverage for our new addition. Selecting a plan was easy. Coverage cost per month is manageable in relation to how much it costs without coverage. Submitting my claim was easy and the turnaround time on being reimbursed was much faster than I anticipated based on their estimate.

ASPCA Pet Health insurance is…Great!
ASPCA Pet Health insurance is fantastic. We were able to create a plan that worked well for both our dog and our wallet. The entire process of submitting claims is very easy. I find the turnaround time from claim submission to reimbursement is quick. I would highly recommend this insurance to anyone who has pets or is planning on getting a pet.
Monthly Cost
Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.
Coverage
The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%
Payout Limits
Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option.
No lifetime limits.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered.
ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment.
If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee.
Accident-Only coverage available.
