Great Service, but one question.

I'm very happy with my PetsHealth insurance plan, the great service and prompt payment with ongoing communication. While I don't always use or need it, it is great to know it's there when something unexpected comes up. One question: Is there a place to go to see what you regard as a standard price for particular services, such as teeth cleaning, rattlesnake venom shots and boosters, etc.? Some vets in my area charge outrageously high prices and even if you pay 80 percent, I'd still get stuck with a bill higher than necessary. Or, if you disallow coverage over a certain price, then I'd really get stuck. I'd like to be able to look up what you regard as current and customary pricing for my region so I can pick vets wisely and, hopefully, along the way help keep costs down.

Urinary Tract Infection

I had to go into surgery almost the same time that my cat got sick and had to also go to the hospital, as well. My cat sitter had to take her back and forth to the Vet 4 times. It was traumatic. I didn't worry because I knew I had insurance from ASPCA.

very helpful

I have a jackabee who had a problem with her pancreas. She was very sick and took her to her vet., filed the paperwork and received reimbursement for part of her bill. Was pleased with the service I received.

Glad I Chose To Insure My Pet

I wasn't sure about signing up for pet insurance, but I decided to give it a try and see what the results would be when and if it became necessary to use it. It did become necessary, within a few months of getting the insurance, when my Malti-Poo Riley got sick, resulting in 3 separate trips to the vet. I submitted a claim for each visit, and was reimbursed a good portion of the cost of each. I am very pleased with ASPCA pet insurance - it offset the cost of treatment so that I could focus on giving Riley the care he needed to get better. I'm glad I made the decision to get this insurance!

Timely and reasonable

My 5 year old shepard-lab mix had several episodes of vomiting and diarrhea after a recent hiking trip and I was worried that she was becoming dehydrated after all the hiking in the new england heat this year in addition to her vomiting, etc. I didn't think it was going to be an expensive trip to the vet, but you never know. I had peace of mind knowing that I didn't have to worry too much about the bill as the ASPCA has always been reasonable and prompt with their reimbursements, from teeth cleanings to coverage of her annual medications to unexpected visits to the vet.
