I am very happy with the Hartville Pet Insurance

Owning a dog was new to me - I didn't have a dog since l977.Things have changed since that time - dogs are treated more like people, getting same sickness and diseases. Since I volunteer at the Humane Society of Sarasota, I decided to get Pet Insurance. I believe the HS steered me to The Hartville Pet Insurance Co. My dog had bad allergies and needed medication, she had some soreness on her feet pads and needed medication, then she got a UTI Infection and needed medicaton. The Hartville was right on everything. They answered my questions right away and payment was fast to me. As anybody, I don't like to see my dog sick, but knowing the Hartville is there is a comfort, between the vet and medication it can be very costly.

I have only had this insurance for 1 …

I have only had this insurance for 1 year. They did pay promptly but I was a little surprised that it went up $144 for the renewal. That seems like a big increase.

Had to get with a new puppy today

My dog got giardia from one of the the other dogs in the dog park. Its been a challenge treating my dog. trying to keep a bull terrier busy when he can't play with other dogs isn't easy. But I don't want to be like the ass that gave it to my dog. The claims are easy because my vet does the paperwork for me. I just pay the bill and get the reimbursement a couple days later. No muss or fuss easy peazy
