Better safe than sorry
We purchased ASPCA insurance for our Italian Greyhound a few years ago, and have paid it annually ever since. We have not used it much, until this year. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with cancer, and she needed certain external tumors removed. Our policy has lowered our bills and allowed us to treat her without too much financial hardship. I am glad we decided to stick with it even when we didn't need it. That's the point of insurance.

Rescue for my cat
I never think that my cat, Buddy became with Lymphoma. When he was diagnosed, I cried. Now He survived for one year since diagnosis helped by ASPCA insurance, that Buddy can continue chemotherapy and other symptom management. He has been keeping his quality of life even with Lymphoma. If we don't have ASPCA, Buddy may not be now. So my big appreciation to ASPCA, who provided tender care: calling me about Buddy with heartwarming words. I have recommended ASPCA pet insurance to my friends who are pet lover.

I have carried an ASPCA Pet Health …
I have carried an ASPCA Pet Health Insurance policy for over 11 years. My Golden Retriever, Maxie, is now almost 12 y/o and healthy and happy. ASPCA has always been a valuable part of Maxie's well being - there have been several times that saying "yes" to treatment was so much easier knowing I had an ASPCA policy. ASPCA has never let us down and has always delivered. Thank you.

Monthly Cost
Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.
Coverage
The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%
Payout Limits
Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option.
No lifetime limits.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered.
ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment.
If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee.
Accident-Only coverage available.
